Northern Gold was formed in the foothills of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania by lead singer Jake Anderkovitch. Starting as an acoustic passion project, the sound spread like wildfire and a full band was forged to accompany the soaring vocals and soulful melodies. The group released their debut album ‘The Heart was Heavy’ in 2015.

As the band matured and finalized the lineup, Northern Gold entered the studio in the spring of 2018 to record their sophomore album with Matt Very of Very Tight Recordings.

They are now known for their unique sound which is a multi genre hybrid of Rock , Soul , Blues, Country, And Folk influences that provide the soundscape for the emotive vocals and uplifting harmonies.

Northern Gold is currently wrapping up pre-production on brand new music as well as reimaginings of previous efforts slated for release in the Fall of 2020.
