Ryan Hoffman is an indie musician and songwriter from Pittsburgh PA.  After over a decade of playing various instruments in different bands around town, he collaborated with producer/engineer J Vega and  Violinist Cara Garofalo to record his debut solo EP, “The Pines.”   The atmospheric EP is a self-reflective memoir that could be linked to other narrative songwriters such as Conor Oberst or Leonard Cohen — with an anthem, indie rock blend.

Following the release of “The Pines,” Hoffman performed as a solo artist until he met singer/multi-instrumentalist Amy Linette during an open mic. The duo played a few shows and connected with guitarist Brad Collins at a show at south side’s Club Cafe.  The trio have since played all over town, along with violinist Cara Garofalo.  The group is currently getting ready to record their first full length with a more collaborative, collective style.
